Furniture Repair

During the restoration process, we sometimes discover loose joints, missing moulding etc. that need extra restoration.

We no longer do repairs on site but have a few very good repair people that we use depending on what is required.

Antique furniture for the most part has been around a least 100 years.  Wood shrinks and warps depending on how the furniture was stored or used over the years.  There have been  a few times when we repair a piece of furniture and it doesn’t meet the customer’s expectations.  For instance, if an antique table has been severely water damaged and cracked down the middle, we may be able to put the table back together but if the boards are warped, the table may never be perfect again.  You should always let us know what your expectations are.
