Whitby Kitchen Transformation
Recently we helped to transform this dated Whitby kitchen from the 1980's bleached oak to a much more modern cherry kitchen. We worked very hard on this kitchen and to be honest this was the first time we had taken on an entire kitchen with these bleached oak cabinets.
With this project we worked together with the homeowner. We refinished all the kitchen cabinet doors and drawers and he painted the edges of the cabinet boxes with Benjamin Moore black melamine paint. The combination of the black and cherry is stunning. Now, this particular homeowner cut all of his own crown moulding and trim for the kitchen which we were able to stain at the same time as the doors and drawers were being done. He also put new end panels in the front and at the side of the island which we were able to stain at the same time as well. He reinstalled everything.
This kitchen transformation is an example of what can be done to an existing kitchen.
